Roofing in a Modern Age

For years we landscapers and DIY enthusiasts have flocked to building the best outdoor structures we can - with the materials available!

But the outdoor elements have always cast a shadow on the longevity of any product despite our go to manufacturers stating long life spans. We are seeing a reverse on decking and an influx in the modern adhesive based market with items like resin pathways and flat roofing styles now being implemented more so than ever before!

As we stand back and look at our latest roof installation by our friend, we now have some piece of mind that our best efforts with the latest build aren’t going to waste! It can rain, it can snow but one thing we know is there’s now a defence against the harshest of conditions - thanks to this single ply roof installation.

It’s safe to say that this roof has no hiding away from the elements especially being right next to the open sea. The wind picks up in storms with a record of over 70mph back in 2018 when storm Eleanor came to claim its victory. That said this design similar to epdm has UV resistance, welded joins and a moisture absorption chemical prepared - all factors that will give this structure even in its worst day the best protection that it can!
